I did not land that heel flip, but I really like how the picture looks! I was up at 7 this morning, it was a little chilly but dry. I went back to that basketball court, I like this place better than the parking lot. Spent a half hour practicing ollies, getting more and more comfortable with them. Still working on height, and in the slow-mo videos you can kinda see how stiff my hips are… I tried going for more height, focusing hard on leveling out by pushing the front more forward than down. This is the closest I got:
Then I spent the last 5 or so minutes trying heel flips. I feel like I’m getting the hang of popping them, but once I do I have no idea what the heck to do with my feet in order to land. Will take some time and practice before that muscle memory develops.
