O.G. Snowboard

Here’s some photo documentation of the first board I made back in 2013.  I used techniques I learned from boardcrafter.com and skibuilders.com.  This thing came out like a brick.  Stiff as a rod and heavy, but boy does it like to bomb a hill.

Specs

  • Size 159, custom width for my big feet
  • True twin shape
  • Hand-made poplar wood core
  • Ultra-stiff tri-axial fiber pattern with carbon stringers running the length of the board
  • True-to-the-90s capped edge construction
