It was difficult to log in and focus on work today. Everything felt like a blur in the wake of Grandpa Tony’s passing, but I was able to make some solid progress work-wise throughout the day. My brother had just gotten into town as well. So around lunch time we went out in the street and made some turns together on the surfskate. It was really awesome to just enjoy something as simple as making turns with him. Truly one of my favorite things to do.
Our neighbor was heading out and as he drove by he stopped and cracked a smile. “Just like old times huh?” he said it in a friendly tone that sounded like “I remember seeing you guys do this 15 years ago.”
