Morning session at the basketball court today. It was good practice, and I’d like to think there’s some good progress. I had a solid amount of heelflip attempts with my front foot coming down on the board, and one where I almost alllmost got my back foot on it too. It’s freakin hard man. But what was kinda cool today is that on my first attempt, I popped off a decent flip. So maybe there’s some muscle memory after all? I hope so. Closest attempt:
And here’s one where I got my back foot on. I’m having trouble committing to getting both feet on. It’s pretty much instinctual for one for to step off when the other comes up. I’m having a hard time coordinating my ability to kick the flip and then have both feet continue coming up in the “jump” aspect of the pop.
